Sometimes larger campsites can lack ambiance, but it is not so with Port de Plaisance. This is a delightful, family run site with 340 pitches of which 77 are for touring campers, all with electricity (6A). The pitches are mostly in two areas, where they are hedged and positioned in small groups amongst the many mature trees and flowering shrubs. Although there are five holiday tour operators on site, their presence is unobtrusive because of careful positioning amongst the trees. This is truly a campsite with something for everybody, with a wide range of entertainment and activities provided over a long season.

Facilities

Three toilet blocks, older and simple in style, include British style toilets, showers and washing cubicles. Baby room. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry room. Shop, bar and restaurant (all season) and takeaway (15/5-15/9). Swimming pool complex with flumes and toboggan. Games room. Programme of entertainment. Multisport court. Aerial zipwire course. Bicycle hire. Large indoor pool complex with spa and toboggan. Massage room. WiFi in bar (charged). Dogs are not accepted 2/7-28/8.
