This spacious, well laid out site has access to a fine beach via a footbridge over the coast road, or you can take the little road train as the site is on very sloping ground. Calonge is a family site with two good sized pools on different levels, a paddling pool and large sunbathing areas. A great restaurant, bar and snack bar are by the pool. The site’s 793 pitches are on terraces and all have electricity (5A), with 84 being fully serviced. The pitches are set on attractively landscaped terraces (access to some may be challenging). There is good shade from the tall pine trees, and some views of the sea through the foliage.

Facilities

Generous sanitary provision in new and renovated blocks include some washbasins in cabins. No toilet seats. One block is heated in winter. Laundry facilities. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Shop (26/3-30/10). Restaurant (1/2-31/12). Bar, patio bar with pizzas and takeaway (27/3-24/10, weekends for the rest of the year). Swimming pools (26/3-16/10). Playground. Electronic games. Rather noisy disco two nights a week (but not late). Bicycle hire. Tennis. Hairdresser. ATM. Internet access and WiFi. Torches necessary in some areas. Road train from the bottom of the site to the top in high season.

Location

Getting there...
Site is on the inland side of the coast road between Palamós and Platja d’Aro. Take the C31 south to the 661 at Calonge. At Calonge follow signs to the C253 towards Platja d’Aro and on to site which is well signed.
