La Semois is an attractive family site, located on the banks of the Semois River at the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. This is a tranquil spot and an ideal base for walking, mountain biking and canoeing. The 110 touring pitches are grassy with good shade, but not always level. They are unmarked, but all have 10A electricity. Motorised vehicles are parked at the site entrance to create a tranquil and safe environment. A shallow brook runs through the site and forms a popular play area for children, along with a well equipped playground. The site is most suited to tents and small motorcaravans as the entry road is narrow and steep.

A new unit has been added, (with a family room), in addition to the three clean toilet blocks, a tiled one by the main entrance, and two basic Portacabin style units. Covered dishwashing area with hot water (charged). Café/snack bar. Canoe and bicycle hire. Children’s playground. Trampoline. Children’s zoo. Games room. Activity programme. Tourist information. Mobile homes for rent. WiFi in bar area (free).

Location
Getting there...
Approaching from Brussles (A4), take exit 23A and head for Transinne, Maissin and Paliseul on N899. Continue as far as Menuchenet and then take N89 to Bouillon. Beyond Bouillon take N83 to Florenville and Sainte Cécile is 20 km. The site is well signed from here.
