Esterel is a quality, award-winning caravan site east of St Raphaël, set among the hills beyond Agay. The site is 3.5 km. from the sandy beach at Agay where parking is perhaps a little easier than at most places on this coast, but a shuttle runs from the site to and from the beach several times daily in July and August (€ 1). It has 164 touring pitches for caravans but not tents; all have electricity (10A) and a water tap, 18 special ones have their own en-suite washroom adjoining whilst others also have a washing machine, a dishwasher, a jacuzzi, 16A electricty and free WiFi. Pitches are on shallow terraces, attractively landscaped with good shade and a variety of flowers, giving a feeling of spaciousness.

Getting there...
From A8, exit Fréjus, follow signs for Valescure, then for Agay, site is on left. The road from Agay is the easiest to follow but it is possible to approach from St Raphaël via Valescure. Look carefully for site sign, which is difficult to see.
