Camping Stel is situated between the pre-Littoral mountains and the sea. The rectangular site is between the N340 road and the excellent beach, with the railway running close to the bottom of the site.

La Guyonnière is a spacious, rural site. It is Dutch owned but English is spoken and all visitors are made very welcome. The pitches are arranged on eight different fields, each being reasonably level and seven having a toilet block.

Mugello Verde is a country hillside site with long curving terraces and one tarmac access road. Some pitches offer good views. English is spoken at reception where much tourist information is available.

This is a mature but pleasant site in a fine hilltop situation offering wonderful views over Florence in the distance – on some evenings you can hear music from the nearby Roman amphitheatre famous for its classical entertainment in summer.

Esterel is a quality, award-winning caravan site east of St Raphaël, set among the hills at the back of Agay. The site is 3.5 km. from the sandy beach at Agay where parking is perhaps a little easier than at most places on this coast.

We were impressed with Camping Flaminio. It is an attractive campsite with many flowers, shrubs and trees giving some shade. Being 400 metres from the main road it is protected from traffic noise.
